- 20th January 2017
April 1995 saw the arrival of What-Not's in Godalming, Surrey and we have traded within the local community ever since. Sadly, after 22 years serving customers with furniture, homewares and gifts, What-Not's will be closing the doors at number 5 Angel Court. (Telephone 01483 425970).
EVERYTHING MUST GO in the CLOSING DOWN SALE, with great discounts and some surprises. The sale starts on FRIDAY 20TH JANUARY and will end on 1st April or when all stock has gone.
A little bit of history:
What-Not's is a family run buisiness that started life in Grayshot in Surrey back in 1985 and over the years we have changed and added to our portfolio of retail outlets which have included Cranleigh, Aldershot and Fleet.
The friendly and enthusiastic staff force have over 130 years' experience between them, with some of the team approaching 20 years of service.
Director Mary Wylie said: "the future is far from bleak at What-Not's, we are still very committed to retail sales and our customers and we are preparing to expand and change focusing on our new website and Made to Measure Service".
Mary's Design Tips for 2017:
Mary has seen many changes in the retail furniture industry, for 2017 she advises us to marry natural woods, pine and oak with soft greens and blues adding a hint of terracotta. Also look at Industrial and Vintage trends, these are still very much in vogue for this year.
Other What-Not's stores can be found in Chobham and Hartley Wintney; stocking one of the largest selections of gift ware in Surrey and Hampshire and the What-Not's flagship store in Guildford is the nearest for Godalming shoppers where they will not only find a warm What-Not's welcome but some fabulous new lines.
As a bonus we would like to offer you the chance to win a stylish and beautiful Abbey Leaning Mirror, worth £199. Simply complete the online entry form before 31st March. The draw will take place in-store on saturday 1st April and the winner will be notified on the same day. No purchase is necessary.
What-Not's would like to thank the Godalming community for its friendship and business over the past 22 years.Permalink
